Byron Scott Talks Starting Point Guard After Practice Saturday

After the Cavaliers last practice to close training camp yesterday, Byron Scott said he made his decision on the opening night starter at PG but he hadn’t told either Kyrie Irving or Ramon Sessions what his answer was yet.  He also refereed to Kyrie Irving as a magician with the basketball.

In response to a question I asked about whether or not Coach Scott saw value in brining Irving along slowly by having him start off the bench to begin this season, Byron said he did see value in that also.  Here’s that video:

I also asked Ramon Sessions if he feels like he could guard opposing SG’s, and allow both he and Kyrie Irving to be on the floor at the same time during parts of this season too.  That video is below as well:

A sincere Happy Holidays and Merry Christmas from everybody here at Stepien Rules. Hope it’s been a great weekend.
