Cavs Baron Davis and Antawn Jamison To Play In The Obama Classic Game

When Barack Obama was aboard the USS Vinson for the Michigan State / North Carolina game about a week ago he said that the Lockout was killing him.  He added that billionaires and millionaires should be able to figure out how to divide up all that NBA money, and said something about the concession stand workers too.  Since the NBA is still Locked out, Obama has also decided that he’ll have a charity game featuring all those NBA players who have nothing else to do in order to help fund his re-election effort.

Playing in the game is Cleveland Cavaliers PG Baron Davis, as well as SF Antawn Jamison.  Alongside those two Cavaliers, the list of confirmed participants are as follows according to BarackObama.com:

Ray Allen – Carmelo Anthony – Chris Bosh – Vince Carter – Tyson Chandler – Jamal Crawford – Kevin Durant – Baron Davis – Patrick Ewing – Derek Fisher – Rudy Gay – Blake Griffin – Tyler Hansbrough – Dwight Howard – Juwan Howard – Antawn Jamison – Dahntay Jones – Brandon Knight – Kevin Love – Jamal Mashburn – Cheryl Miller – Alonzo Mourning – Dikembe Mutombo – Chris Paul – Quentin Richardson – Doc Rivers – Steve Smith – Jerry Stackhouse – Amare Stoudemire – Tina Thompson – John Wall – Russell Westbrook

If you think it might be cool to go to this game you can pick up a General Admission ticket for only $200 per person. If Premium Lower Deck is more your speed, those tickets are going for $500 per, and Courtside seats cost $5,000 per ticket.  Who wouldn’t pay that to watch Tina Thompson guard Cheryl Miller though, right?  Or Quentin Richardson guard Jerry Stackhouse at this point for that matter too.  Here’s the link if you want a ticket, or if you don’t believe me that he’s actually charging that much for them.

In other Cavaliers related charity game news that nobody cares about anymore, Kyrie Irving looks to be playing in one at Nassau Coliseum on December 2nd according to Alan Hahn. Metta World Peace is supposed to be there too.  I may also be announcing later this week that I will be lowering the basketball goal in my driveway to around seven and a half feet and be holding a celebrity dunk contest there too later this month.  So far I have confirmed, as well as my neighbor.
