It was preseason for everybody yesterday, including myself. The reason I say that is because the second question I asked Cavs Rookie Tristan Thompson in the video below took me way too many words to complete. I have since reviewed the tape though, and am working on tightening up that aspect of my interview game.
Thankfully Tristan is a real nice and intelligent guy who was able to determine basically what I was getting at and offered a thoughtful answer in response anyways without skipping a beat. The first question he is answering in the video below is from somebody else about who his favorite player was growing up, and our exchange is after that.
It starts with me asking Tristan about Antawn Jamison’s impact with the young players so far:
My first question wasn’t too bad though, and as the day went on I did get closer to mid-season form. It’s all about reps. After talking with Tristan I then caught up with Cavs big man Samardo Samuels as well as Christian Eyenga, and those videos are below too. Later on today I will be posting my exchanges with Manny Harris and Ramon Sessions also, along with an interview that Ryan Hollins did with Luke Harangody.
First up is Samardo Samuels talking about his second season in Coach Byron Scott’s training camp:
Next is Christian Eyenga talking about his adjustment to living in the United States, his improved ability to drive in the snow, as well as his focus on improving his ball handling and jumpshot this summer:
Check back later on today for more with Ramon, Manny, Ryan Hollins and Gody.
