Vote for Jonesy, he’s from Ohio, and good at slam dunking

If I were lame I’d say something about Sidney Deane not being able to take money from this dunker because Jonesy most definitely could get up over that rim with a metal net somewhere in California and double his two-on-two tournament winnings by proving that caucasions can in fact leap up and finish above the rim on command.  You know, because Billy Hoyle was white and so is Zach Jones aka Jonesy, get it?  You’re right, not funny, but neither are Jonesy’s dunks.  See how I did that last part?

Anyways, the kid from Ohio is serious, so serious in fact he won the Washington DC Sprite Slam Dunk Showdown by out-dunking YouTube sensation Roscoe Johnson.  In the process, he qualified himself for the chance to be crowned Sprite Slam Dunk Showdown king, and bank $10,000 in the process.  Here’s what made him one of ten amatuer dunking national semi-finalists:

Judge and dunking legend Daryl Dawkins even got up out of his seat and shot Jonsey an OH to which he replied with an IO amidst the chaotic celebration that ensued in DC.  Okay I made that last part up, but Dawkins was impressed, definitely did get up out of his seat and why shouldn’t he have?  The kid can most definitely finish, and I suggest everybody from Ohio click here and vote Jonesy.

Vote here to determine the Sprite Slam Dunk Showdown championship.
