Anthony Bennett has been “impressive” in five-on-five action this week

Marc Spears from Yahoo! Sports reported on Thursday that Cleveland Cavaliers No. 1 overall pick Anthony Bennett resumed playing five-on-five basketball earlier this week.

He had previously been sidelined since undergoing surgery on May 8 to repair a torn left rotator cuff.

According to players I spoke with last night, Bennett has been "impressive" in five-on-five action thus far.

"Bennett is looking good," one player told me. "He's shooting the ball well and also had some monster dunks. He's out here working real hard."

With training camp scheduled to open later this month, the news couldn't come at a better time for Cavs fans.
