Over-Under 11.5 points for Anthony Bennett in NBA Debut?

We are setting the over-under on total points scored by Anthony Bennett in his NBA debut tonight against the Brooklyn Nets at 11.5 points.

During the preseason, Bennett made Canada and Cleveland proud with dunks like this off Sergey Karasev feeds while averaging 9.4 points on 34.8 percent shooting in 21.4 minutes per game off the bench.

I am expecting a little bit more tonight which is what helped drive the double-digit line.

For some perspective, below is what the NBA debut[s] looked like for first-round picks Kyrie Irving, Tristan Thompson, Dion Waiters and Tyler Zeller over the last two seasons.

Kyrie Irving: 6 points, 2-of-12 shooting (26 minutes)

Tristan Thompson: 12 points, 4-of-6 shooting (17 minutes)

Dion Waiters: 17 points, 6-of-14 shooting (28 minutes)

Tyler Zeller: 5 points, 2-of-4 shooting (15 minutes)

Bovada has the O/U scoring line for Irving set at 22.5 tonight and for Waiters that line is 14.5 points. I didn't see a line for set for Bennett anywhere so we decided to kick off our 2013-14 O/U series with the No. 1 overall pick from UNLV.

Let me know on Twitter (@BowersCLE) if you think Bennett will go over or under 11.5 points against the Nets.

All winning tweets will be posted here at StepinRules.com on Thursday. Merry Cavsmus.
